drdave,
I did not recognize her. I searched for her on Google and through several sites where she was pictured as having sets there.
after a while ,... I found her on one with a name and then checked sites that would list AKAs and VIOLA ! The search was successful.
thanks for the rep.

which means you went about the search much the same way i did. which means you are either more observant than yours truly or have better tools.
would you mind reiterating the tools you use in general for the great hunt?
i use:
a Foxpro program i wrote which lets me search, browse, tag, and look at the pics on my hd more easily than windows explorer
GUI for ExifTool as a metadata viewer. exiftool is an extremely powerful metadata viewer/editor. note the gui is a separate program written by someone else
DownThemAll, an add-on for firefox which generates sequential lists of urls given one example (useless at any ptarie site with randomly generated ones, which is most of them)
The!Checker to generate my file's CRC so i can compare it to the CSVs out there. it uses the same crc algorithm as the crc boys, apparently (there are a handful of algs)
Mirkes.de Tiny Hexer. a hex viewer/editor. i cant say it ever aided an ID here, not for lack of trying, but it may some day, and it has many other uses
ImageMagik for a two-click dump of certain image characteristics and metadata
D'peg, a program which is sort of like google image search for your hd. it does similar image comparison. it's batchy, which might or might not be a good thing
Wget, a command line web-site spidering utility. well i used to use it, anyway
