"Josephine Mutzenbacher or The Story of a Viennese Whore, as Told by Herself" is a 1906 novel that was the basis of an sexploitation (not porn) movie in the 1970s, followed by a bunch of sort-of sequels that are porn, mostly titled "Josefine Mutzenbacher wie sie wirklich war" ("Josefine Mutzenbacher as she really was"). I thought of it mainly because of your remark about costume-porn.

As I was searching Josephine Mutzenbacher I came across that novel and thought that can't be what Toxteth was referring too, I stand corrected, so the movie in the 70's and sequels are filmed with period costumes? I try to ID the models in upcoming set's at Sweethearts, they only provide a small thumbnail preview like this one...
So who are these two? I think the one on the left is Lana Rose, and on right is Robin Scherbatsky, what do you think?
Here's another one...any idea?
When the video appears you can figure it out because a little preview plays as you scroll your cursor over the image on your desktop, doesn't work on my mobile though which is very frustrating, can anyone else see the preview on they're mobile device? Have no idea who the models are in this one.

Something else that's kind of period-costume porn is the "Heidi: Das Luder von der Alm" (roughly, "Heidi: the slut from the mountain pasture") series from Switzerland.

I actually got one of the DVD's, had some lez content the reason I got it, horrible image quality! I couldn't believe how bad the DVD rendering was, not only bad picture quality but also displayed in 480p and not 1080p as it was supposed to be, and it says on the box PAL format which supposed to have fairly sharp quality, was planning to purchase more but after seeing this crap no more, sad thing is this is exactly what I'm looking for with the attire and all that, do you happen to have one of these DVD's? Just curious to know did I happen to get a bad copy, or all the DVD's like this in the series!

PAL is far better than NTSC: more lines and a better way to store color data. But if it's digitized poorly, or maybe from a video tape that's suffering from degradation, and at low res, it's still crap quality, of course.
I keep finding it funny when you mention buying DVDs — it's the 2010s, sorry, the 2020s even!
Mine is more literal. A Luder is much more "slut" than "bitch", and an Alm in German is a pasture up in the mountains rather than mountains themselves. But I guess they went for a more catchy title in English.
The later ones are widescreen. I have parts 1 to 15 (except 9) on my HD, and from 6 on they're widescreen. However, I have them in what's now horribly low resolution: 688 × 384, 528 × 304, even 352 × 288

Oh I beg to differ, I've been buying DVD's left and right for years, waiting for some arrivals from Europe now, from Jeedoo specifically, the only DVD's I purchase these days are European PAL 720:576, if it's NTSC 720/480 I won't touch it, especially if it was originally filmed in PAL, the conversion process ruins image clarity.
The only reason I got that Heidi vid, or any supposed wide screen DVD is because I couldn't find that particular video anywhere else, there weren't any good high quality download options, typically NTSC wide-screen DVD's have deplorable image quality, even PAL wide-screen isn't really that good, but PAL standard screen 720:576 is crystal clear sharp, have a ton of old Club Seventeen and Videorama DVD's, and Staviss, extremely sharp image quality, you'll never find an online 720:576, or 720;480 from any one of the VOD sites like hotmovies, adultdvdempire, with image quality as sharp as a PAL DVD, also native resolution NTSC DVD's in 4/3 are far better than anything download from VOD sites, I have a bunch of American porn DVD's from the 00's with very good image quality compared to their respective VOD counterparts.
