The identity and gender of the HIV-positive actor have not been released by the Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation, the clinic where the case was discovered. The clinic was working to identify and test on-screen partners of the actor.

We need to find out the actor/ actress.

County public health officials and state occupational health officials have said the widespread lack of condom use on porn sets puts performers at risk of contracting HIV and other diseases. Adult film producers have said viewers find condoms to be a turnoff.

"We strongly feel that condom use should be required in this industry; just like a construction worker wouldn't go into a construction site without a hard hat, an adult industry performer should not be having sexual acts unprotected without a condom," said Kim-Farley.

They are a major turn off and the industry should not be regulated.
In a free country too many regulations don't make sense.

Will regulations and jail time be imposed on regular people who "hookup?"

Just like seatbelts...Wear your condom, it's the law!

You can't be serious or so uninformed can you, Will E. Worm??? No Offense!!!

There is NO LAW requiring the use of a Condom, Will E. Worm. Seatbelts yes, but NOT Condoms.

It's a matter of personal choice for the people involved. This is America NOT some backward ass Country Dictatorship!!! I'm sure the Actors and Actresses are well aware of the Risks Involved in Unprotected Sex. Also, you may want to rethink about what you are saying here. It's the Fans of Porn that are so dead set against the use of Condoms in the Porn they like to watch, so it's NOT the Porn Industry's fault. It's the fans!!!

The use of Condoms in DVD's and Video doesn't sell as well as the NON-Use of Condoms aka bareback does.

What's really stupid, Will E. Worm is the use of an actor, that swings both ways, both gay and straight sex scenes. That to me, is the reckless disregard for anyone's safety.

I know. I have been saying "gays" shouldn't be used in straight films for a long time.

I know condoms are not a requirement now.

I was commenting on what Kim-Farley said:
"We strongly feel that condom use should be required in this industry; just like a construction worker wouldn't go into a construction site without a hard hat, an adult industry performer should not be having sexual acts unprotected without a condom," said Kim-Farley.

She said it not me. ;)
