i learned this word today: sternocleidomastoid
the muscles that go up the front of your neck in a vee
you can see one at a time frequently but is unusual to see both
this one is a great example of both
then you have the "femoral adductors"
there's 4, i think
they all have different names, but its tough to tell which one youre seeing or even if youre seeing only one
they all share a very small attachment surface on the pubic bone
at the other end, they attach to the femur at steadily lower places
you will not see them this well-defined very often
my favorite muscle, because its extremely rarely seen: the transverse perineal
it goes from leg to leg right across the human "taint"
i never saw one until i came across Anna Sbitnaya in her fm work
(pic 2 is somebody else)
