I have been quite busy finding the exact location of the shooting and mapping the building/area.
While I am still discovering things, I have decided to wrap it up as I do not want to derail to much from my ultimate goal: finding the missing set of Laura F.
Whole reason for this endeavor was to be able to recognize the sets that were shot there to possibly identify them on other websites where they could have been released.
Before getting to the location of shooting, I have discovered a few of the audition locations in Moscow:
Hotel Berlin
Teatralny Osobnyak
Club Alibi
Studio of Andrey Kim or Oleg Lyapkoesov (same building as Club Alibi)
Then the location of the shooting. Sadly no luck there. All I can say is that the owner is a rich Russian with likely an Islamitic background.
It is quite an extravagant looking building like a medieval castle, build by (most likely) Russian elite. And the Russian elite usually live in secured areas, so things like a Google Maps car won't get in.
The whole premises is surrounded by mostly a brick wall. A good portion with battlements, another good portion just bricks without battlements, en a portion with bricks and steel fencing.
The building itself is built to be a castle with a tower on each corner. The towers do not go all the way down, but sink away into the wall on the first floor. A little low fifth tower acts like the entrance on the ground floor.
It was build around 2000/2001 with ongoing building up to 2004/2005. You can also see the work on the building advance in photo sets and videos.
That made it also harder to map the building.
I wanted to make a 3D video of the building, but I found that I am not good at it, nor do I have the patience for it. So I have settled on making simple images to share with you all. Perhaps somebody will find it useful.
Important to note is, that this image does not reflect the actual scale of all the rooms. It is nearly meant as an impression. I will also add some photos later to give a better idea of how each room looks like.
First one to share is the map of the first floor. More maps follow later.

I forgot to mention that besides this location there are likely 2 more locations where the C17 models were shot.
(for example the sets in simple rooms with the rafters/luxaflex blinding the windows)
But I believe they are on the same or bordering grounds, or owned by the same owner. As some of the props in those sets (which are a bit older - so the castle may not have been finished) also appear in the castle rooms. For example the pink bed. (which also appears in multi color and gold)
