The movie was gross but epic! Hard to watch, in an interview Bob Guccione said he wanted to capture ancient Rome how it really was, and it was pretty bad, basically how most emperors ended the're rein was by being murdered or suicide, Nero was the worst, say's he practiced every sort of obscenity, from incest to animal cruelty and homicide, Caligula it is said to have incest with his sisters, and prostituting them with others, and inappropriate sexual relations with men and women under his power, but his predecessor Tiberius was so depraved I won't even write about it because it may violate terms and conditions here!
