They've had extended for a few months now, and I've used it quite a bit. One of the things that I noticed about it was a serious lack of internal consistency - like, if you extend by 10 seconds, it won't necessarily retain the priors of the previous 10 seconds, but might go into some different scenario. The also have an even newer high-quality mode that generates even higher quality initial stills, but much more limited in number, like only 4 at a time. And these are very difficult to turn into videos, though I've gotten some good ones when I've managed to do so. Example:

When I unsubbed, they offered me a deal for $10 per month on "SuerGrok Lite". I tried it - total rip off, don't bother. It has a rate limit that might even be lower than free mode, no extend, etc. I would have kept the SuperGrok subscription if I was able to generate what I could a few months ago, but I just can't anymore. I do hope somebody takes up the mantle of high-quality AI porn in the next few years. The dedicated AI porn sites I've seen are pretty bad, with inputs limited largely to box checking, and it largely seems trained on the most generic porn imaginable. Grok was doing it with a true LLM-based model, so if you wanted to generate porn (albeit, largely softcore) in the style of, say, 19th century erotic photography, or 70s David Hamilton, you could totally do so. I hope that becomes possible down the road - I'm sure there's a ton of demand for it, but also a ton of pushback due to fears of simulated CSAM, revenge porn, and more garden-variety antiporn sentiments that are back these days in a big way.
