Question About Incorrect Tags

Just wondering are Tags ever verified? There seems to be many AMWF tags for models and when searching nothing is found. If i'm the only person who finds this an issue, sorry for wasting your time.
 
You can type anything you want as a tag on indexxx.com, as long as it doesn't contain illegal characters. Which means that if you make a typo (like, say, "birth.yera=1998" instead of "birth.year=1998", you've just made a new tag. And it will remain there until someone (that could be you) posts a comment somewhere to request it to be changed.

So no, is my conclusion, they don't get verified.
